The Wireless Power Consortium is pleased to announce that Bernd Eckert (Bosch) and Vamshi Kandalla (GRL) have been elected to the Board of Directors. We thank our outgoing members, Kiavash Faraji and Zhenning Shi for their work on the Board.
Bernd Eckert received his Diplom-Ingenieur in Precision Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Universität Stuttgart, Germany. During his career in the high-tech industry, Bernd managed projects and teams, both in automotive and non-automotive, in Europe, Japan, the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He currently works on the development of projects in the field of emerging technologies. Bernd holds a German Amateur Radio license class “A”.
Vamshi Kandalla is Granite River Labs (GRL)'s Chief Strategy Officer. His experience includes product marketing and management, strategic sales, business development, and more in the automotive, IOT, consumer electronics and communications, telecom, industrial, and networking markets. He is currently working in imaging and sensing, photonics, robotics, charging, etc. for the automotive, datacenters, consumer, and other markets at GRL. Vamshi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an MBA degree.
